C&B Book Distribution Company http://www.cbbooksdistribution.com set to promote aspiring authors at Queens Book Fair April 30, 2005. The Queens Book Fair will be held at the Jamaica Market in the Harvest Room located at 90-40 160th St. Jamaica, New York. 

The Book fair will begin at  11:00 am and end at 7:00 pm. The Jamaica Market Harvest Room is in the heart of, Queens, and will draw many of the following vendors to the Queens Book Fair. Children Authors, Christian Authors, Small Business Owners, Self-published & Aspiring Authors, Corporations, Literary Professionals, Vendors, Authors, Political Officials, Medical Providers, Organizations, Non-profit Groups, Insurance Representatives, Financial Representatives, etc.


This event will be advertised locally and abroad to ensure a great turnout. 2005 LA Black Book Expo

The second time is a charm! The second LOS ANGELES BLACK BOOK EXPO (LABBE) will build on the success of LABBE 2004 and welcome you to the best Black book expo west of the Mississippi. 2004 featured over 40 author-exhibitors, children's reading room, an author-publisher reception, panel discussions, spoken word presentations, music, food, and some of the best local, national and international authors. Join us on June 10, 2005 for the opening night reception and on June 11, 2005 for another exquisite all day literary family affair.

LABBE 2004 was held at the Exposition Park Intergenerational Community Center at 3980 S. Menlo Avenue in Los Angeles and we expect to be at the same location in 2005, thus prepare now to join for a good time as we present a progressive approach to the written and spoken word. Admission to LABBE is absolutely free and open to all, and our exhibitor space fee is very reasonable.

LOS ANGELES BOOK EXPO is a forum for public and private businesses and organizations to exhibit and articulate the need and necessity of independent African and African American and African and African American centered print and electronic media. The event is essential to informing the general public of the wealth and talent within the ranks of the independent African and African American press in the U.S. and around the world who warrant greater attention in the print and electronic information industry. 

LOS ANGELES BLACK BOOK EXPO is for teachers, students, librarians, booksellers, emerging writers, writers, authors, community activists, editors, publishers, spoken word artists, print and electronic media experts, artists, information specialists, and others literary professionals; folks who know smart is cool. 

LOS ANGELES BLACK BOOK EXPO seeks to serve a diverse population, undivided by gender, ethnicity, age, income and geography, especially Africans and African Americans and friends of the African and African American community who are involved in and concerned with the importance of reading and education.
